Red Onion created the first digital sustainability report for the Chinese tech company Xiamo, released on the week their mobile phones overtook Apple to be the second largest brand after Samsung. It was designed to appeal to a European audience and reflect the brand and ethos. Working closely with various partners we developed spreads with 7 columns to help provide white space. This, along with big pictures and infographics throughout, made this a compelling read. We ensured plenty of company images, and pictures of young customers. We produced an interactive PDF which received global attention soon after it was published.
Considered use of white space, photography and type size provided an interesting and easy to read document for this NHS Hospital. With a strong brand approach already in place, Red Onion were tasked with creating a document that had a new look whilst fitting with existing design guidelines. Working closely with the Moorfields comms team, we designed a document to appeal to staff, patients and stakeholders. Red Onion provided a wide range of cover concepts until a look was agreed upon. A simple colour pallette and a large but stylish type size made this an easy to dip into strategy report.
